Designed by Hans Hornemann, the Normann Copenhagen Rope Three Seat Right Hand Facing Corner Sofa is soft and curved. The design emphasizes flexibility and comfort, and it combines traditional upholstery techniques with a personal expression.
Designer Hans Hornemann has highlighted the details of Rope in an understated and elegant way, as seen in the piping that marks the edge of each module. The design plays with dimensions and curves in order to give Rope an expression that is simultaneously minimalistic and full of character. Rope is designed for pure comfort that will make you want to relax for hours at a time. The flexibility in the modular design offers a wealth of opportunities for creative expression and personal style.

Materials & Finishes
Rope consists of a solid wooden frame with Nozaq springs with HR 38 cold foam on the seat and HR 35 cold foam on the back and armrests. Over this, is a layer of supersoft S25 cold foam which ensures optimal comfort. The legs are made of lacquered steel. *PACKING: Rope Armchair is packed on 1 pallet in 1 box: 1,15 m high. Rope 2 seater is packed on 1 pallet in 2 boxes: 1,95 m high. Rope 3 Seater is packed on 2 pallets: 1 pallet with 2 boxes: 1,97 m high & 1 pallet with 1 box: 0,95 m high. Total weight: 145 kg.
Clean with textile or upholstery cleaner. Frequent vacuuming with a soft fitting is recommended to preserve colour and appearance.

The young Danish designer Hans Hornemann graduated as a Master of Engineering in Industrial Design from the University of Aalborg 2014. Hans Hornemann emphasizes the combination of aesthetic simplicity and high functionality in expressive and light-hearted design. He is fascinated by the industrial and technical solutions in design in terms of both material and mode of expression. Natural materials often inspire him, and he endeavors to strip the design to its bone and portray the honesty found in the materials.
