Designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced under license – true to his original specification by Fritz Hansen, the Series 7 Fully Upholstered Chair is one of the most prominent and iconic pieces of the entire collection. Despite its unconventional design and svelte form, the Series 7 Fully Upholstered Chair is a tremendously comfortable chair. One of the most iconic stackable chair in design history, it has become a style icon and is seen by many as one of the finest examples of timeless design. It has remained popular for six decades – a period of profound changes in technology, culture and lifestyle. Series 7 has now reached its 60th anniversary and is still in perfect shape to continue its journey towards new generations with new demands and new standards for design.

Materials & Finishes
The Series 7™ chair comes in 3 different finishes: Natural veneer, coloured ash or lacquered. All chairs are made of pressure
molded sliced veneer. The shell is also available in front- or fully upholstered versions in a wide range of fabrics and leather types.
Besides a base with 4 legs (stackable and in 3 seat heights), it also comes with a height-adjustable swivel base and castors, as a
counter stool or as a bar stool. The 3107 chair is also available in a monochrome version with powder coated legs in selected colours.
Fritz Hansen offer a standard five year warranty against manufacturing defects (i.e. materials and design). Normal wear and tear and damage of covers are not covered by the warranty. The warranty for wicker and lamps is 2 years.

Arne Jacobsen is one of the greatest architects and designers of our time, an internationally recognised icon of functionalism. Saint Catherine’s College at Oxford University, the National Bank of Denmark, SAS Royal Hotel, Arhus Town Hall, the Danish ‘Bella Vista’ housing estate and the nearby Bellevue Theatre are among his best-known works. Arne Jacobsen was a functionalist, but he also stressed the aesthetic aspects of his work.
